From here on, my photos from this place will be from a couple days later (a weekday evening), because I somehow managed to lose all but one or two of the rest of my photos. My phone acted like it was taking them, but when I got home, they were just black images that crashed my phone when I tried to transfer them off. Very weird... thankfully, this was the only time it happened, and none of the photos were irreplaceable or anything (in fact, this is one of the easiest places for me to revisit to retake photos), but it was still annoying. If you notice anything different about the photos from here on (it was definitely less busy on this visit, though still busier than I was expecting), that's why.
Anyway, here's a view from near Gucci back towards the main row of designer storefronts, though they're pretty hard to see behind the giant columns and tall clothing racks.
That stinks about what happened with your photos. I had a similar experience once, where my phone glitched halfway through a supermarket tour and the photos just showed as corrupt, crashing my phone when I clicked to view them. I realized this when I got back in my car, and went back inside to redo everything that I lost. However, my phone glitched again and I lost the second batch, so I just gave up after that. Thankfully that was my last store of the day and it wasn't anything too crazy or exciting, but it was still frustrating, especially since that store was all the way in Tampa.
ReplyDeleteIt was me, AFB, that left the comment above. I forgot to change the "comment as" setting and the comment went through as "Anonymous" by mistake.
ReplyDeleteOuch, that sucks, especially with such a long drive! And yeah, I've noticed that the new comment system behaves strangely sometimes -- at least in Firefox, to post a comment logged in, you have to turn off "enhanced tracking protection".
