Checkerboard checkouts

While the front checkouts were modernized during the remodel, the smaller set next to the "main" entrance was left as is, including the old-style cubes and checkerboard stripe on the checkouts. Kroger is infamous for reusing plain cube-shaped register lights between decor packages these days, but it looks like Fred Meyer had the idea first! These are almost identical to the ones used in the Cartoon days, just with slightly different decorations.
