Oculus

It appears that the designers were going for an oculus look with the new ceiling here, which is kind of cool, but I don't particularly like how dark it makes this space feel (countering out any light feeling from the skylight far above). I do, however, quite like the fern garden and surrounding built-in bench/table thing! Even more than the rest of the building, this area looks nothing like it did pre-remodel; even the doors to the parking garage were moved! (The elevators in the back left of this picture are the same ones peeking out from behind the parking pay office in the link, for reference.)
