As always, one of the consequences of being in a mixed-use building is giant columns breaking up the salesfloor, something that's particularly noticeable over here in produce. (Though having shopped at a similar store for almost a year now, I can say that they're not that noticeable in person; they just get in the way of pictures.) This store is one of the few that kept the produce X-lighting all the way up until its Modern remodel, though strangely it was not at the typical 45-degree angle to the walls; it's possible that that was changed when the produce fixtures were rearranged to remove the 45-degree angle, but that would be strange since almost all other Safeway stores had already lost their X-lights by that time.
