The bakery here is also a bit on the small side -- in fact, the whole store seems to be surprisingly small for a late-80s build (which aligns with the older-looking exterior setup we saw earlier too). The service area is particularly small and largely walled off from the salesfloor. And it doesn't help that the liquor department intrudes into the bakery quite a bit!
