Between those escalators and the theater's entrance being so prominently visible throughout most of the mall, it's clear that this place was designed with it in mind! I suppose that makes sense, seeing as it's essentially the only anchor tenant of this mall, with the rest (even in better days) being primarily taken up by stores that would normally be considered inline tenants. In the middle of this picture, you can see the mall's christmas tree, strangely placed in the second-floor elevator lobby (why they wouldn't put it in the giant atrium is beyond me), about the only seasonal decoration they had.
