The remodel replaced the normal directories here with these fancy touchscreens... which most likely have never been used as anticipated, as they were apparently "temporarily" disabled due to the pandemic that the mall re-opened during. Thankfully, all of the shops in the mall (and quite a few things that seem a bit silly to have on the directory!) fit onto one screen these days. Yes, this is a full store listing, sadly -- you can count the name brand stores on one hand.

JNBY? Are they anything like TCBY? Lol, with tenants such as Ghost Gallery and Toxic Threads, perhaps this place should have a year-round Spirit Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThis is a bit off-topic, but have you ever been to the Thriftway or IGA on Vashon Island? They seem like pretty neat stores.

You may not agree, but the Lifestyle v3 Safeway in Gig Harbor is pretty neat too! Link: https://goo.gl/maps/PAZ1XvCnbGSuN6qa6
Ha! It looks to be some sort of Chinese clothing store chain with very minimal US presence, or perhaps it's just someone using their name.
DeleteI haven't -- in fact, I haven't ever been to Vashon Island! One of my friends in college grew up there, though, and worked at the Thriftway.
The Gig Harbor Safeway is somewhat of an odd case, being a nearly-new store that went to Haggen during the Albertsons merger before coming back to Safeway. I haven't visited it either, but it is right across the street from the former Main & Vine (which is now a Metropolitan Market).
What's the story about the Fred Meyer in Gig Harbor? It doesn't look much bigger than the Safeway there! It's certainly not sized the way I expect Fred Meyers to be, but I suppose Gig Harbor isn't the biggest place itself.
