The north side of Pacific Place feels like a completely different building from the main facade on Pine St, being significantly taller and largely windowless (both of which are thanks to the theater that takes up the top floor of this end of the building). The striped awning below is from an Italian restaurant that used to occupy this corner, which was an early victim of COVID. Off in the background is an oddity that I don't think I've noticed before -- the next-door office tower still has a Bell Telephone logo on the top of it! And it's not just weird because that company is long gone; this is the only office building in Seattle to have a big logo at its top (something that's fairly common in many other cities), as Seattle doesn't allow those except on hotel towers, for whatever reason.
