The back side of the service department island seems to have been intended as a self-service soup and salad bar, but was being used for pre-packaged items as of last summer (at which point I doubt it had ever been used for its intended purpose, since this store opened at the height of the pandemic). The whole left wall is used for various refrigerated deli-type items -- fancy cheese, deli meats, and a lot of packaged meals (which I'm sure are fairly good, but to me they just look like fancy microwave dinner 😉).
