Classic Target register lights

The front end here is pretty much standard Target fare, featuring the classic big-number register lights that are just now starting to disappear. Also, that "compare & save" display, featuring store-brand and name-brand versions of various medicines, is an interesting concept -- not something I think I've seen outside of Target.

  1. There's something about this scene which looks incredibly dated, but obviously it isn't. Well, I suppose with P17, it would look more modern. I think it's the office area above the snack bar area which makes this feel like a 1980s Target. Without that, it wouldn't feel as dated even with the now-outdated checkout lights and such.

    1. Yeah, there sure is! I doubt it looks all that much more modern these days -- sure, they replaced the register lights, but the grey walls probably don't help.
