The signage for the service departments at this store is quite elaborate -- wooden boxes projecting a significant distance into the store, with both uplighting for the text and can lights pointing down into the store, and big medieval-looking straps connected to decorative braces going back to the wall. I'm not the biggest fan of this design, but you certainly can't accuse the designers of cheaping out on this! I'm not sure what the distinction is between the departments with light- and cherry-colored wood signs is, or if they just wanted to make them not all be the same.
I generally like this decor. It is a bit generic looking as compared to, say, Bountiful, but it looks pretty nice and classy. I'd certainly rate it above most other modern Kroger decor packages.
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly nice! I don't think it's as nice as, say, Urban Mix or Fresh Fare 2.0, but there are many worse decor packages out there.
DeleteI'm impressed with how easily you were able to describe the materials of the signage. I wouldn't have gotten anywhere close to that XD
