I'm not going to be showing every single historic local photo in this set, but there are certainly some that stuck out as highlights to me. Here's a cool picture showing the Ballard Locks, back around 1920. It's impressive how little of this view has changed over the last century -- about the only major change is that the trees are bigger, meaning that sightlines are a bit less open than in this picture! Oh, and you don't see loose log booms anymore -- traffic on the ship canal is a bit too heavy for that these days.
