Glass tower

This store is clearly of the 90s-era "Brick and Block" design, and while it's generally a fairly generic example of that style, it has some nice design elements, particularly the glassed-in tower that sits above the northwest entrance. Sadly, while this store has plenty of windows, only a few of them actually open into the store, and the ones that do are heavily tinted -- I suspect that was done during the Lifestyle era, when Safeway had a thing for making their stores rather dark inside. (While the plain florescent strip lights that Albertsons put in all local Safeways following the merger are certainly a lot uglier and less classy than the Lifestyle lighting, I don't miss the dimly-lit era!)
