I always find it interesting how Safeway really wanted to keep to their standard store layout back in the 90s-2000s, even in weird stores like this one. About the only change they made to accommodate the missing corner of the building is flipping the packaged bread and the service bakery! (Packaged bread is typically on the wall between the deli and bakery.) Once you hit the back wall and the dairy department, it's pretty much back to business as usual for the rest of the store.
