Arts & Crafts, and the tech stuff that replaced that

The right wall of the upper level is home to the electronics department, with a few aisles of art and office supplies awkwardly dropped directly in front of that. This department has a little bit of wall decor beyond just the letters (as was seen on other general merchandise departments here), with sets of horizontal lines on either side of the main sign (though being white on light yellow, they fade into the background).

  1. Yeah, this is basically just the lunch meat décor repeated everywhere. That seems to be the default for departments Kroger doesn't know what to do with.

    1. Well, in that case, maybe I shouldn't be so impressed with Fred Meyer for coming up with this "extended" version of Neighborhood!

    2. It's still cool to see in a Fred Meyer, don't get me wrong! I'm just disappointed Kroger didn't do more to make the unique departments more, well, unique...
