Despite the guard and the lack of much of anything down here, the basement had a surprising number of people in it on this visit. I guess lots of people wanted to use the restroom! The restrooms in question were in the back corner, behind that old checkout counter, so people had to walk quite a ways from the escalators to get to them -- which is convenient, since it allowed me to explore most of the space without sticking out too much.
