Blue and white

Throughout the store, there are a few white department signs mixed in with the blue ones -- those are used for service departments/counters. (One was also used for the restrooms, as seen in the previous picture -- that feels rather appropriate, since "services" is the word used for restrooms in various languages!) In this picture, you can also see the endcap-mounted aisle markers (rather similar to what you'd see in Target!) that are used in many portions of the general merchandise department. Unfortunately, these seem to be an experimental feature, with most Airport stores I've seen pictures of use the (uglier and less helpful) yellow triangular-prism aisle markers instead. But if it's true that these aren't a thing anymore, I can see why -- every one we've seen in the past three pictures has some sort of issue (misaligned panels on J29, a missing front panel on J31, a missing number panel and price numbers in one two photos back, and completely missing side panels on one in the previous picture). I've mocked Albertsons' PF&H aisle markers in the past for falling apart, but that was after many years of use; I visited this store only a few months after its remodel! And we'll be seeing more weird issues with them as this set goes on.

  1. Walmarts aren't taken great care of, lol. Not necessarily just the employees' fault, by any means, but the fact remains... I'm not surprised to see the things falling apart already!
