This store was built in 1979 as a replacement for an older store down the street (which may be even more interesting than this one, but that's a series for another day...). It appears to have been remodeled in 1996, sometime in the mid-2010s, and... 2021. Yes, 2021. That's where things get interesting, since it was conventional wisdom among northwest grocery enthusiasts (yep, that's basically just me, though it has been discussed over on Retail Watchers a bit) that Safeway was planning on wiping out the Albertsons name in Washington, but as will be very clear soon enough, they don't appear to have any plans to rebrand this store anytime soon.
