While it's no neon, the internally-illuminated letters are cool in their own way (and much less common), the script tagline brings in the 90s flair, and, of course, I love the curved wall segment. It's too bad the decor inside the department is decidedly less interesting.

ReplyDeleteIf I look closely, it does look like they had DVDs for sale, but I don't see any music albums. Oh well. It looks like a pretty boring electronics department from what I can see, but I suppose a boring one is better than no electronics department at all.
Huh, you're right! Curved or circular designs were common for Fred Meyer electronics departments for a while... I wonder if they were inspired by that design in any way.
