Since Whole Foods only took (part of) the basement of the old JCPenney, the original mall entrance wasn't used by them, instead being blocked off with this construction barricade. I wonder what the original intent was for the upper level(s) of the building, since I believe Whole Foods leased the whole thing. Unfortunately, nothing ever did happen here, and it's still sitting empty to this day.
