Yep, it's time for another Fred Meyer already, and one from my June vacation already! But there's a good reason this time, and it's not just that this store is super cool -- it also solves some mysteries about the Mill Creek store we just looked at.
This store was built sometime in the late 90s, and is practically identical on the outside to the Mill Creek store, except for having the newer logo -- which makes me think it's probably just a tiny bit newer. I'm pretty sure everything you're seeing on the outside of this store is original, including the color scheme (but don't trust this picture for colors -- it turned out with a severe blue cast for some reason, which I was able to remove, but it's hard to say how close the edited colors are to real life).
It's always cool finding doppelganger stores! It's surprisingly harder to do that than you'd think it would be, at least in my experience anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt really is! Fred Meyer in particular tends to have a lot of variation in their stores, so it's certainly not common to find ones that are so similar.
