Abandoned shelves

 

Off in one corner was this sad little cart of removed shelving pieces. I think I was more interested in the cart, though, with its "sub basement" label. I'm still a little confused on what exactly the sub-basement is in this building, and whether it's connected to those maybe-doors in the lower mezzanine of the tunnel station, and I haven't yet been able to find any plans on the building permit website to explain any of this to me. 🤷‍♂️
