Speaking of which, here's a view of the area behind the stairs, with a surprisingly large crowd waiting in a rather disorderly fashion (one minor good change COVID has brought to retail: lines tend to be much more organized these days!). The theater-like spotlights on the metro rack are an odd find -- I wonder what they would once have been used for.
