This might just be the weirdest collection of mannequins around, with one missing its torso, one that obviously broke in half and was taped back together (and which is missing an arm), and one that's laying on its back (and also might be taped together!). Seriously, who would buy these things??
I have no idea who would want a duct-taped mannequin with a missing arm, but I suppose it would make for good contemporary art, lol.
ReplyDeleteAs I may have mentioned here or on other blogs, I'm quite into reading about Hi-Fi equipment. There is a guy in the Seattle area who started a new website not too long ago called Audio Science Review. There are many websites reviewing audio equipment, usually through subjective methods of the reviewer determining if they like what they hear or not, but this guy is basing his reviews based on objective data from standardized testing of various audio equipment pieces. Anyway, out of the many review websites, this website out of Seattle gained a huge following very quickly and there is a lot of buzz about the site.
When this guy from Seattle posts his reviews, he puts a little figurine of a pink panther next to the item being reviewed. If the panther is playing golf or soccer, it means the product in the picture got a good review. If the panther is missing a head and has a broken arm, it means it's a bad review. There are some other panthers in between. I think the reviewer said his wife makes those panther figurines. Anyway, that duct-taped mannequin does not look too much different than that blown up panther that products with poor reviews get, lol.
If you want to see what I'm talking about, you can see the panthers here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?reviews/
