One of the nice things about visiting a store that's this small is that it makes it easy to capture the whole building in one picture! Anyway, as you can probably tell from the abrupt change from sun to typical northwest rain, this set is going to be a mix of pictures from two different visits, before and after the remodel. And speaking of the weather, today is anything but typical for Seattle -- we got a ton of snow overnight and through the day, and there's about 6 inches outside my window right now, with significantly higher amounts in most other parts of the city!
Ugh, same here with the weather. We had a (thankfully small) ice event last week, incidentally on the anniversary of Ice Storm 1994, which I was not around for but am told was absolutely devastating. It was enough to cancel my appointment for the first section of my professional exam, though. Very annoying. Today and especially into tomorrow, we're getting sleet and upwards of 10 inches of snow -- unheard of in Mississippi! The whole state will be dealing with wintry weather, as a matter of fact. Then possibly another round mid-week. All I want is to take (and pass!) my exam ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteUgh, that sucks! 10 inches is about where it topped out at in Seattle (though some parts of the region got even more than that, and I got quite a bit less at my apartment) -- so you might be getting even more snow than me! Thankfully, ice storms are even less common than snow storms around here.
