Since I had a cart, I turned to the right to use the ramp rather than heading down the stairs. (I really don't get why Target put in multiple big stairs, but just this one narrow ramp -- did they not expect people to have carts? I wonder what this store did this year for social distancing, too.) Running along the railing between the two levels is perhaps my favorite bit of this store's decor -- the stakes of bowling balls running from floor to ceiling! I have no idea whether the bowling balls are actually from this former bowling alley (the fact that they're all red seems to point against that, but who knows), but aesthetically I find it very cool! I've always loved that marbled design of classic bowling balls.
