As if this store didn't feel enough like a weird alternate-reality version of the Port Angeles store I grew up with already, every time I glance quickly at this picture it always feels like I'm looking at the Port Angeles Safeway gas station! Sure, none of the details are particularly close, but the older Safeway gas design across the street from a large brick building... I don't know, it's one of those things that doesn't make much practical sense, but it still has a distinct feeling of deja vu for me. (Oh, and just to highlight how pedantic I was being about the Seattle thing earlier -- that brick building is in Seattle. This store certainly isn't, however!)

Clearly the solution would have been for the sign to say "serving Seattle since ____, and serving you people just outside of the city limits since ____" :P
