Some of the electronics were already stripped out of the store by this time, including a few of the checkouts and all of the price scanners. I'm sure they wouldn't have interacted nicely with the store closing discounts, but at the same time, with the disorganized mess that store closings can be, it seems like it would be useful to have price checkers!
