At the end of the front aisle is the escalators and elevator to the basement. The front aisle lines up with the actionway up by the checkouts... but, of course, you have to walk around the escalators anyway. This made some sense when this was the dividing line between groceries and general merchandise, but now it's just a blockage in the middle of the grocery section. Oh well... From here, you can also see the checkouts, but again, you have to walk by the exit doors to get to them, which seems a bit weird.
