Hey look, it's yet another view of the escalator core! While that's not super interesting, I think the main point of this picture was to capture the translucent mobile hanging over the clothing department. While I suppose this is more like a promotional sign than actual decor, it seems to be a relatively long-lived thing, plus I think it looks super cool!

Interesting! I definitely didn't know that history at all. It's amusing how that article mentions Dayton's wanting to make the logo stand alone without the name, just like Target has been trying to do off and on!
