I had really been hoping to see this store all decorated for Christmas, as it was back in the day, but no, practically nothing to be seen here. Apart from a few promotional displays, you'd be hard pressed to identify this picture as being taken in December! I know this store has been declining in many ways for years now, starting with the Macy's takeover and significantly accelerating with the sale of the upper levels, but I suspect that the staff were especially unmotivated this year as the store was slated to begin its closing sale as soon as the holiday season was over.
