The entire first floor of the store is taken up by the grocery department (though, notably, the first floor is much smaller than the upper ones). This was a much-talked-about feature of the store when it opened, with some articles even calling this the first name-brand grocery store in downtown, but honestly, I'm not sure what the hype was all about. PFresh in normal Targets was launched years before this store opened, and was present in practically every Target around here by then as well, and the grocery section in this store seems very much like a PFresh Target -- decent, but certainly not anywhere near the selection of a normal grocery store.
