The center portion of the first floor is home to the packaged grocery department, with aisles going in all directions to fit into the weird space. (It's not as bad as it looks -- beyond the section of sideways shelving, which lines the escalators, is a few more normal aisles.) I'm not sure how much smaller this floor is than the upper levels, but it feels much more crowded.
