Here's another one of the giant directories (which would have originally had directory brochures in the slots on the side -- clearly, someone at Target was very concerned that people wouldn't understand this store's layout!), which was buried in wine bottles at the time of this photo. The alcove between the escalators and the end of the salesfloor was the original home to liquor, as seen here.
