V-shaped

From the side, you can see the other interesting part of the roofline -- in addition to the wave along the front, there's also a lopsided V shape along the side. I'm not entirely sure what the point of the pop-up in the back was intended for -- as far as I can tell, that space was always the back room and walled off from the main salesfloor, so I'm guessing it was just intended to look interesting from the outside. You can also see here, under a lot of paint, one of the original river rock wall panels. Imagine all that paint being gone from the glass and stone, and this view would, again, look not that different from when this store was built.
