The reason that this area is open to the public is that it's home to the Victrola Coffee shop, a very trendy upscale coffee shop. From what I can tell, this is pretty much what the rest of the Amazon space looks like, a modern trendy techie space with absolutely nothing left from the building's history. And I'm sure that's what's going to happen to the rest of the place too soon enough, or at least as much of it as they can get away with given its historical designation.
