I was intending for this visit -- in early October -- to be before the holiday stuff went up, but, clearly, that didn't work. (It was also right after the closing announcement, so the Christmas stuff must have been set up right around when it was announced that this would be the last holiday season for this store, which must have been rather depressing for the employees...) I'm also not sure what this area would have been at non-holiday times, but seeing as the holiday stuff was here for at least a third of the year, I can't imagine it was anything but a seasonal department.
