The outside windows of the store were used for all sorts of advertisement signage, including an old one for the cafe, a newer one for the childrens' department, and a menu board featuring food from the cafe. I can't imagine the cafe was particularly successful in drawing in people off the street here, where there are plenty of other (and likely better) offerings around, and I really have to wonder how well Barnes & Noble cafes are doing in general, especially since Barnes & Noble stores are hardly destinations these days.
