This store tops out at 11 aisles, somehow an increase of only one compared to the original floor plan despite the removal of the large produce and dairy departments on each end. Despite the light and airy design concept of the original design, the aisles must have been rather narrow, even by northwest standards! Anyways, you can see here how quite a few of the original windows have been covered over, including the side ones and the tops of the front arches.
