Let There Be Windows

And here's that window wall in all its glory! I've posted plenty of modern stores with high ceilings, and even some with lots of windows, but none that quite put those together in the way that Marina stores do. In some ways, these stores are kind of a melding of old and new ideas in grocery store design, combining the huge windows that largely fell out of style not long after with the high ceilings that didn't really come into style until well after. When you combine that with the distinctive architecture, something that really stopped being a thing not long after, that's why I consider this era to be the high point in grocery architecture.
