Immediately upon entering the grocery section, the weird layout of this store becomes obvious. Produce is compressed down to a relatively narrow aisle along the front wall, with the deli and bakery all the way in the corner instead of partially following the front wall like they normally do. This is also the first taste of the incredibly blah decor this store has, with the front wall of produce almost entirely blank.
I hate the décor. But the deli-bakery arrangement is actually not too different from their newest build supercenters.
ReplyDeleteHuh, interesting! I'm obviously not particularly knowledgeable about Walmart, and the newest new-build one I've been to had a more classic setup of service departments, so I didn't realize they'd changed.
