Corner view

Generally, I can't stand neoclassical architecture (I'd rather architects do something new and different rather than trying to copy old styles), but it somehow works here. I'd still probably prefer something more modern, but this building does a good job of emulating the early-1900s architecture that's still common in downtown. Anyways, that Pacific Place sign is obviously a rather recent addition compared to the mall's 1998 construction; the old sign was a much more 90s (and more interesting) neon thing.
