Playing to Sears' strength, the first department you see upon entering the store is tools, followed by automotive. Growing up with a couple Sears Hometown stores rather than full department stores, I still find it a little weird to think of Sears as a place to get anything other than tools, car stuff, and (mostly) appliances! Off in the background is an odd "Sears Auto Center" sign, over the doors leading into the car repair bay itself.
Don't worry -- that's all anyone else realizes full-time Sears stores sell, too XD
ReplyDeleteHa, perhaps that's part of their problem! 😉 My mom says she used to buy most of her clothes at Sears growing up, but the only clothes we've bought from Sears in recent years were from Lands' End back when they still had their stores in Sears.
DeleteSurely so! Oh, and if you hadn't heard yet, you guys might be happy to learn that Lands End will soon be in Kohl's stores :)
DeleteInteresting, I hadn't heard of that! We're pretty much fully online clothes shoppers these days, though. (And what I really meant was something like once or twice over the 18-ish years that Lands' End had stores in Sears!)
