Here's another look at the very large third anchor space, which is primarily home to what must be a massive LA Fitness gym. Like much of the mall, this space has sseen quite a bit of turmoil -- it opened (in 1980, during the mall's big expansion) as a Frederick & Nelson (a small Seattle-based department store chain), which went out of business in 1992 and was replaced by Mervyn's (a slightly-larger west coast company), which in turn closed in 2006 and was replaced by LA Fitness and (as discussed previously) Steve & Barry's.
