Finally, a picture that turned out quite well! For my last interior picture, here's another mystery about this store -- the slogan above the doors, which I've never seen before. Googling it turned up one picture of another Pastel Arches store and one ad from the 1960s, and that's it. Any chance this rings a bell with any of you?

Also notable here is the modern-looking checkouts, though the ancient register lights make me think they're probably original (Safeway was probably using conveyor-belt checkouts by 2000; they just look a bit out of place with how old-fashioned everything else is here). This store also has a non-stickered version of the express lane sign, unlike the Puyallup store!
