Here's a rather disappointing look back at the bakery-Seattle's Best combo. As strange as it seems today, the combined bakery and coffee shop does make some sense, as in the non-grocery world there's a significant overlap between bakeries and coffee shops (I mean, baked goods are the only reason I ever go to coffee shops!). I didn't get a good picture, but off to the right (under those windows) is what I'm guessing was the cafe seating area, unsurprisingly closed off and replaced with random displays due to COVID fears.
