Frozen in the middle

The frozen department is there one place where Lifestyle v3 really excelled, with the giant cube category markers and color-coded category strips breaking up what can be a rather monotonous part of the store. The freezers themselves are an interesting design too, not the standard 90s style that I assume this store would have originally had, and not a type I've seen in any other Albertsons or Safeway that I can think of. And what's up with those boxes?
