Welcome to the north Burien Safeway!

This store was built in 1994, and as you can probably tell from the road sign and non-Safeway gas station, was originally an Albertsons. As I said when I started this new format, I'm trying to coordinate my long and short sets; as you can tell, that doesn't always work out, but I was able to find a connection this time -- this store was one of the first batch of Albertsons to Safeway conversions, being done at the time that the store was taken back from Haggen. I wasn't able to dredge up any pictures of this store as Haggen, but here are some from back in the Albertsons days.
