Delicatessen and prepared produce

In addition to the rounded corner on the left end of the deli, the remodel also added an angled corner between the two ends of the deli. In fact, looking at the plans, I think the prepared foods bulkhead was pulled significantly further forward into the store relative to where it used to be -- in fact, I'm not sure how the right half of the deli could have been used at all in the old configuration, since it looks like it was a very narrow little space. Note also how both the deli and prepared foods signs are wood paneled -- this is something that seems to be a newer change, with the Snoqualmie Ridge store (the first one in the region with this decor) having prepared foods with a plain gray background instead. Looking at those pictures, there have been a few other minor changes since that store was built -- most notably, uplighting was added to the department signs and the text was shifted up slightly to be somewhat closer to vertically centered. Both of those are very welcome changes in my opinion! Looking at AFB's pictures of the Florida Safeways, it looks like these details were present in the original stores with this decor -- no clue why Snoqualime Ridge got a less nice version of this decor package, especially since that was a new-build store!
