This picture should give you a good sense of the size of this store's clothing department -- that's the entrance vestibule in the background, which is roughly centered in the store. The clothing section doesn't extend quite so far in the middle and back portions of the store, but it probably still takes up around 1/4-1/3 of the store. That seems like a lot to me, though again, by no means am I a Kmart expert. And at this point in the closure, it was still all well stocked and maintained!
